Hayyloo!
After loosing only one game today during our rugby match (to Coleraine) we're through to regionals! This is where ten schools compete for one place at Ravenhill! We won't get it because we're shite, but it's nice to get through to the next round at least! We've improved upon people's expectations anyway, and that's great! Playing at the Ballymena Rugby Club is somewhat fab, the changing rooms are shit, but the corridor is narrow and small and the smell of victory and the sound of the metal studs against the concrete floors was somewhat soothing and gave me a great atmospheric chill. FANTABULOUS.

Pictures soon!

With only 22 days, I've come to realise what a fabola year 2012 will be for film. With previous box office hits like Star Wars and Titanic  reappearing on the big screen, many of my friends are just itching to get down and re-visit these iconic films.
Personally, I hope the Antrim Cineplex takes on board how much profit they will make by these new (3D) versions of the film, despite not having a 3D facility, and bring back old favourites like Fight Club, The Godfather, Rosemary's Baby and maybe more recent ones like Batman, Spiderman, Toy Story etc! Especially as the third one came out recently, many younger kids won't have seen the first two, or perhaps it's unlikely that they have! So it'd be a great idea to bring back old favourites if bigger block busters don't perform as well as expected!

Anyway, rugby tournament tomorrow! Will upload photos as soon as I get them!
With 36 days to go until the Hunger Games opens, I'm spending my day off talking to a few friends who I've introduced the series too and listening to Safe & Sound and Pa Pa Power. It's fantastic, especially considering as I'm rather ill atm and feel as if I'm dying.

I also have an idea for Lose Your Soul by Dead Man's Bones, like.. a short film idea, it keeps changing in my head and I keep seeing it in different angles, but the ending is always the same; rape. It has to end in the character getting raped, she's loosing her soul and rape is the most soul destroying thing ever. I've started to draw up some storyboards in my usual comic book fashion on Photoshop. And I'm liking what I see, tho, I can only see Ryan Gosling as the end (I'm not referring to him as the rapist, because c'mon. It's Ryan G!) and that's an obvious problem for casting.

Today, I'm having the finest microwavable chips and some Tesco finest mint ice-cream things, that aren't that bad actually. Lazy day, lazy day! Sorry for not posting on Sunday, my laptop's not currently working and my mum was home and so I couldn't sneak onto hers like I am right now, anyway, with 36 days till THG and 155 days till TDKR. I'm gearing up by having a Batman marathon! WOOHOO!
tallihooo!

Instead of revising like a good girl, I've been watching Ireland play rugby today. The sport has such a fantabulous atmosphere these days, with many of my non-sporty friends even getting a bit geared up and having a few beers throughout gameplay (excluding me, straight edge!) Although, the whole Sexton vs O'Gara thing really came to a head today; virtually and irl. It started with a few friendly banter-ish comments on facebook, as usual. What doesn't start on facebook anymore? But the fights were not the problem. As an avid O'Gara > Sexton fan, I have to admit, that Sexton played magnificoally today! Perhaps kicked the ball too much, but did manage to get a conversion and/or penalty at least the majority of the time. For once! And not just his kicking has improved, but his leadership skills and his ability to think fast, which is a superb thing to see and it's great to see him grow as an athlete. Especially because of a few mistakes from my homeboy (we share the same number; 14) Tommy Bowe. Not catching, not tackling and just being overall sloppy, he made up for it though by getting a sexy wee try in there, hurrah! Despite Ireland's horrifying defeat, I feel they played a spectacular game of Rugby and I can't wait to see how bad they lose next week to France who finally have a superb team.

Apart from that, the past week has been a tad bothersome. Exams are high flying, but I'm over the worst of it. I was optimistic for my ADD maths exam. I even revised for it, giving myself that extra boost, but left it down in the dumps, I didn't even get it finished, nor the eight mark question started. And I knew how to do it, and I love doing that type of question. Waaaaaaah! So now I'm looking back over my ability of my other exams and thinking "Maybe I coulda answered that a bit different." But awk well, it is what it is. This week I have a couple of English ones, ICT, maths, French and I can't remember what else; OH! Geography! But this week should be sunnier than the rest as I'm out half day Thursday and off Friday, life is looking up!

OH! And someone was sick on my bag this week, in school :(( People asked me did I wash it, and why I didn’t have it with me the next day. HELLO, I wasn’t walking around with a bag covered in sick with me, nor was I for taking it on the bus. Fuck that shit.

With 46 days till The Hunger Games and 165 till The Dark Knight Rises, I'm outta here, bye bye!

You aren’t speaking to me because I don’t think you’re hot? Seriously? Sit the fuck down.
What the hell is going on now-a-days? Everyone wants to be the skinniest, everyone wants to eat the least, everyone wants to the hottest. Fuck off. The liklihood that you will be either of these things is slim. Instead of wasting your energy killing yourself slowly, take up a fucking hobby or something. Or, I don’t know. Eat
It’s not cool to starve yourself, or have “lets see who can eat the least this week” competitions. WHY THE FUCK WOULD IT BE!?
JE NE COMPRENDS PAS. Like, I really don’t understand, is that all that you have going for you? Your stupid thigh gap, collarbones or whatever else everyone points out. Do you have that little personality? No hobbies? No interests (apart from your lack of desire to eat)? Nothing? AT ALL. Like, srsly.
What the actual fuck? You don’t want to be my friend because I don’t think your hot. I’m sorry that I don’t find corpses attractive.
Curvy girls are hot. Not fucking corpses.
Goodbye. Goodnight. Have a nice life.

Nothing to extraordinary happened today.
Uncle Dookie and I had a magnificent day together though. We went to Larne, to go to a little cafe he adored as a boy, which was thankfully still standing! We had twin fry-ups and he had his beer and I had some lemonade; freshly squeezed! We walked along the beach and he told me stories of his lost love Kara and how no matter how much he missed her he was happy that she has moved on and made a family of her own, something I wish for Dook. He's always travelling the world alone forgetting about his brothers and his cousins and his extended family. Which is rather sad, but he says he likes it so who am I to say otherwise?

Uncle Stephen is still in the hospital, though he moved to the private rooms up the road from me. Staying close to my mum, Jordan and I will be good for him, I've been to see him everyday this week for at least four hours at a time. Even if he's sleeping. I read to him or draw him a picture or leave him a letter so when he wakes up he knows I've been and talked. Even if he couldn't reply. Today, he was in particularly good spirits and even ate some of the cake Jordan had made and brought over for him. We decorated his room with various keepsakes he's kept in an old fashioned suit case which is just lovely these included; a signed picture of Keira Knightley, a metal horse and cart his father bought him, a couple of postcards from Dook, pictures of various films he loves, a few audiotapes etc. Then pictures and paintings on the walls as well as a few blankets to make the place seem nice and like his old place. It's horrid seeing him as skinny as he is, his refusal to eat baffles us all. But what can we do?

I've scraped my Short Film idea. I don't know. It doesn't seem right to think of such things during these hardships. But who knows, I may pick it up in a couple of months!

Books, books, books!!

I know, I know. It's not exactly Sunday yet, but I just had to tell you's all about the books I decided to buy today. I was out at the Market and came across the sweetest little old woman selling some simply divine books (I do love my alliteration!)

I got Drive by James Sallis, which was made into a beautiful film last year staring Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan. I can't wait for his latest book Driven! I don't know if it's in any way related to Drive, but I've heard it's going to be fantastic! Fingers crossed!

I also re-bought An Abundance of Katherines by John Green as I've seemed to have misplaced it, or leant it to someone without it being returned. It is my favourite John Green for many reasons I will not divulge you in!!

I also bought a copy of the script of the film The Help. I'm nearly pretty sure it was an illegal copy, but it was only a couple of pound, so I thought why not?

I also bought Mirror Dreams by the young novelist (She had 4 novels published before she was even 20!!) Catherine Webb. I first came across her when she was 15 on an interview with the CBBC and it's taken me this long to pick up one of her books. The copy I bought is a rather ruffled one, showing that it has received much love. Yay!

And last but not least is a copy of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. Which I'm currently in the midst of reading!
